Some of you may or may not know what an interactive game is so I’ll go ahead and explain it. Basically, an interactive game is any single or multiplayer game that let’s you make choices and decisions for the characters throughout the story line. This is the kind of game you can play over and over again by making different decisions to get various endings. The concept of interactive gaming is fairly new and has become more popular with games like Choices, Episodes, and my favorite Mystic Messenger that can downloaded to your cellphone via the Google Play Store or iTunes App Store. In this blog post, I will be going over a few details about Mystic Messenger.
Mystic Messenger is a South Korean female oriented interactive game developed by Cheritz. It was released on July 8, 2016 for Android and August 18, 2016 for iOS. The game was originally developed in Korean and was released in English during mid-September 2016.
The main character is a female character whose name can be changed and has no default one. She is a protagonist, who downloaded a mysterious app that leads her into living in a closed, secured apartment owned by someone named Rika, the founder of a charity organization known as the RFA (Rika’s Fundraising Association). On the app, the main character meets 6 new people who give her the task of organizing the annual company party for RFA members that have been longing to invite their own guests. The player of this game is able to choose 1 out of 5 available love interests (Jumin Han, Zen, 707, Yoosung, & Jaehee Kang) within the first 4 days out of an 11 day playing time span. Each love interest offers their own route and backgrounds, as well as, helps uncover the truth behind the RFA. This game is a fun filled, romance story with mystery and comedy that lets you choose your fate.
