When I was in high school deciding what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, I thought I wanted to go into advertising; I wanted to use my creativity to have fun and promote products and maybe even create my own products while constructing my career. I started college as a Communications major with a minor in Textiles & Apparel Design. I changed my minor after taking the Introduction to Design course to New Media Arts. From there I learned a variety of skills in web design, graphic design, print and digital publishing and interactive storytelling. Over time, I have developed my skills and combined aspects of graphic design and marketing to promote local networking and fundraising events, create professional branding guides for individuals, host a successful marketing campaign on a global scale, and create digital web content for a local dentist office.
